Our Jam-packed Tour of Korea

In 4 days, we were able to visit 9 tourist spots in South Korea, namely:
1. Chandeokgung Palace (with Tour of the Forbidden/Secret Garden), 
2. Bukchon Hanok Village, 
3. Insa-dong, 
4. Cheonggyecheon Stream, 
5. Nami Island, 
6. Myeong-dong, 
7. the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), 
8. Mount Namsan, and 
9. Lotte World.


We got to watch the Cookin' NANTA Show and Zipline from Gapyeong to Namiseom.  And we got to shop at the Dongdaemun Fashion District and at Yongsan Electronics Market.

Had we more time, we would have:
a. visited Gyeongbokgung Palace;
b. watched the changing of the guards at Deoksugung Palace; 
c. shopped at Namdaemun Market, COEX Mall and Itaewon;
d. visited the War Memorial of Korea;
e. biked along the Han River; and
f. had coffee at Hongik University Area

    1) How early does lotte world open and is a halfday trip enough?

    I think Lotte World opens at 10am. Half day trip is not enough if you want to try all rides. We were there for only half a day and only got to try some rides because lines were long.
    I no longer have the email of Toyoko Inn but you can just google it.

  3. Hi. I find your Korean trip very informative. My husband and I together with 5 other friends from Bulacan will be travelling to Korea on October 15 - 19, 2014. This should be a budget friendly and DIY travel. We are already booked at a guesthouse in Myeong Dong. I would like to know if you got a packaged tour in Korea to visit all the spots you visited or simply made it your way
